Those Things On iPad After Updating To iOS4.2

The news that Apple released iOS 4.2 on Monday cheers Ranee a lot, as she has recently got her iPad with the help of one of her friends in HongKong. And at present, she is very fond of reading news and eBooks, or playing games on it. That’s why she feels excited about the new features of iOS4.2 and update her iPad immediately. And here are the new key features and things iPad can do after updating to iOS4.2:
Features 1: Multitasking
iOS 4.2 brings multitasking to iPad. So you can be more productive as you work, have more fun as you play, or do a little of both. Everything happens smoothly and efficiently — without slowing down the performance of the foreground app or draining the battery unnecessarily.
Features 2: Folders
Now your iPad has more room for more apps. Move apps into folders with drag-and-drop simplicity to declutter your Home screens and keep your apps organized for fast access to your favorites.

Features 3: AirPrint
AirPrint makes it simple to print email, photos, web pages, and documents right from your iPad. A few taps is all it takes to go from viewing it onscreen to holding a printed copy. There’s no software to download, no drivers to install, and no cables to connect.

Features 4: AirPlay
AirPlay lets you stream digital media wirelessly from your iPad to your Apple TV and AirPlay-enabled speakers. So you can watch movies and photos on your widescreen TV and play music through the best speakers in the house.

Features 5: Find My iPad
Find My iPad — the MobileMe feature that helps you locate your missing device and protect its data — is now free on iPad. Once you set it up, you can find your lost device on a map, display a message on its screen, remotely set a passcode lock, and initiate a remote wipe to delete your data. And if you eventually find your iPad, you can restore everything from your last backup.

Besides things for iPad fans above, there are also some good news to iPad’s iWork users: to coincide with the release of iOS 4.2, iWork for iPad gets an update, adding support for iOS 4.2 features. The new iOS 4.2 fixes a font compatibility issue when exporting PDF formatted documents from Numbers, Keynote, or Pages for iPad which should help when sharing documents to Windows-based systems.
Keynote 1.3 now includes a Presenter Display option, which allows presenters to display the current or next slide or their presenter notes on the iPad when it is connected to an external display or television. Keynote also received performance updates when exporting presentations to use with Keynote ‘09 or Microsoft’s PowerPoint.
Numbers 1.3 includes a print preview option, which allows users to see how a document will print across multiple pages, and new support for formula typing when using an external keyboard.
Pages 1.3 adds compatibility and support for several new font options and bug fixes when exporting to Pages ‘09 and Microsoft Word.
Those are things on iPad after dating to iOS4.2, and Ranee is now enjoying them. And i am sure there must be more wonderful things which i don’t mention above. Do you agree? And welcome to share your experience and discuss with us here:-)

Well, I love iPhone.
